On this 7-hour excursion a coach will pick you up at a designated point close to your Santorini hotel for the drive to the port of Athinios. Board a traditional wooden kaiki sailing yacht that will take you to the Nea Kameni volcano, where you can see the active crater and walk along its rim.
After an hour and a half at the volcano you’ll continue by boat to the island of Palea Kameni and enjoy the famous hot springs, where the water temperature ranges from 25-30 degrees Celsius during the summer.
Dive into the water and swim for about 30 meters until you reach the hot springs and red mud bathing area. You’ll have about a half hour here before your boat continues on its sail above underwater craters to Thirassia, the sister island of Santorini.
On the island you can choose to have lunch in one of the small taverns near the port or opt for a donkey ride up to the village of Manolas.
Returning to the port of Athinios, you’ll sail close to the volcanic cliffs of Oia, Imerovigli, and Fira, and have the opportunity to take in the stunning views.
