Visit the stunningly beautiful village of Lindos by boat. On the way to Lindos the boat passes the magnificent beaches of the East coast and ends up in scenic Lindos. There you will have around three hours free time to explore the ancient Acropolis of Lindos, stroll through the maze of winding alleyways, or relax on the two golden beaches Lindos has to offer.

On the way back to Rhodes the boat will make two stops at Anthony Quinn's and Tsambika bays for a swimming and snorkeling.


Lindos: a magnificent acropolis on a imposing rock
On the top of the rock stands a centuries-old acropolis, proudly overlooking the archipelagos. The acropolis bears silent witness to Lindos’ glorious past, a major naval power of ancient times which reputedly had a population of 17,000.

The view of Lindos village with its cubic houses sprawling down the hillside under the acropolis is one of the most photographed scenes in Greece. The whitewashed labyrinth of little alleyways was deliberately designed to confuse pirates; today this layout makes wandering around the town a real adventure!

According to tradition the temple of Athena on the Acropolis was founded by Danaus, who came to the island with his 50 daughters to escape the rage of the goddess Hera. Follow the same ancient path that the ancient Rhodians took. When you reach the acropolis you will see a 280 BC relief of a Rhodian Trireme (ancient Greek warship) carved into the rock, an indication of the naval power of ancient Rhodes.


Bus transfer to the harbour and back is not included in the price. You can come to the meeting point by yourself, or we can pick you up for extra cost - from 5€ to 20€ per person (both ways) depending on the distance from the meeting point to your hotel:
- Bus transfer from: Rhodes city, Ixia, Iallisos, Faliraki, Kalithea, Kremasti is extra 7€ per person (hotel-harbor-hotel).
- Bus transfer from South: Lindos, Kalathos, Gennadi, Kiotari is extra 20€ per person (hotel-harbor-hotel).

Check-in: If you do not need a transfer, and you are coming to the harbor by yourself - you have to come for a check-in from 08:10 until 08:20 am to our meeting point at Gallias str. 6 (inside "Half Price Tours" office, next to Benetton shop, at Mandraki Harbor) to get your boarding pass. Click here to check the meeting point on Google Maps.

Transfer: If you need a transfer, please be aware that the pickup time is 1 hour earlier than what is stated on your booking confirmation, f.e. if it is written "pickup at 08:20 am", then the pickup will be 1 hour earlier at 07:20 am.

Departure: Every day (except Monday) at 09:00 from Mandraki Harbor in Rhodes Town.
Boat arrives to Lindos Harbor: ~11:00.
~3 hours free time in Lindos. Please be back to the boat until 13:45.
Boat leaves from Lindos Harbor: ~14:00.
On the way back to Rhodes, we make two stops at Anthony Quinn's and Tsambika bays for swimming and snorkeling.
Return to Harbor: ~17:30.
