As you enter the natural harbour of Symi, you will be charmed by this beautiful island. One of the most picturesque islands of the Dodecanese, Symi is a visual treat with its colourful buildings and imposing churches. Lively Gialos, the harbour area, is very small but lined with little cafes, fish and sea food restaurants, sponge and spice stalls. For shopping lovers, there are interesting handmade jewellery, clothing and gift shops.
On our way to Symi we will stop for swimming and snorkeling at one of the most beautiful beaches all around the world – Saint George’s bay. Jump in its emerald refreshing waters or lay back on the boat to enjoy its wild setting.
On this trip we won't stop at Panormitis Monastery, as we don't want you to get tired and spend too much time on the boat. But if you want to visit Panormitis, there is a minibus in Symi that can take you there. This is optional and costs extra 6 euros per adult and 3 euros per child (both ways). The trip to Panormitis will take ~20 min one way, you will spend there ~30 min, and then on the way back you will stop for panoramic photos of Symi from the top.
