By visiting Tourtlee.com you accept these Terms of Use as well as the “General Terms of Business of Tourtlee.com and Suppliers of Tours and other touristic Services” when you book services on Tourtlee.com. If you don’t accept these provisions, please stop using website and leave it.

By providing us with your personal data, you acknowledge and explicitly consent to Tourtlee.com (as applicable), processing your personal data in accordance with these Terms of Use as well as the “General Terms of Business of Tourtlee.com and Suppliers of Tours and other touristic Services” and the relevant laws and regulations, including processing of the data by Tourtlee.com employees and the transmission of the data within or outside Greece as specified herein and as permitted by the legitimate interest and/or your given consent. If you need special care and you request special assistance by providing us with information relating to your physical condition, you consent to and authorize us to use and, to the extent necessary, transfer such data so that we can take steps to provide this service.

Processing of your data by Tourtlee.com is based on the REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (“GDPR”) and applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Greece, as well as where applicable, on legitimate interest and your voluntary consent.

All users are open to visit the website according to its intended use. The use of further service such as the booking of services does not require prior registration.

1.3 Changes to the booking platform

Tourtlee.com reserves the right to change the content, structure, functions, and so on, of the internet platform, add new functions, or partially or fully suspend existing content and functions temporarily or permanently, as well as attach selected functions to the fulfillment of certain conditions, at any time without notice. Tourtlee.com can partially or completely block access to the website for particular users. You are always legally bound by the Terms of Use at the time of your visit.

1.4 General Terms of Business of Tourtlee and Suppliers of Tours and Other Services

For booking services via the website, the General Terms of Business of Tourtlee.com and Suppliers of Tours and other touristic Services as well as the additional conditions of individual suppliers, which you can find at the service pages, shall apply.

1.5 Limitations of Liability

Tourtlee.com strives to keep the website up to date. Notwithstanding, Tourtlee.com does not accept liability for the correctness and timeliness of the information displayed on the website. You are using or refraining from the use of this information at your own responsibility. Tourtlee.com excludes liability for accessing or using this website including all the contained information and data therein.

Tourtlee.com does not accept liability for damages caused by computer viruses, spyware and other malicious computer programs, except where such damages can be directly attributed to the fault of Tourtlee.com and where Tourtlee.com have not implemented required technical and organizational measures to secure the processing of your data.

1.6 Copyright

The entire content of this Internet platform is protected by copyright. Names, titles, logos, texts, pictures, designs, and so on, may not be copied, modified, transferred, reproduced, and so on, for any commercial or non-personal purposes. If you wish to use texts, pictures, and so on, you can get in touch with Tourtlee.com who will refer you to the owners of the respective copyrights.

2. Booking

2.1 Booking

When you book on the website, you may be transferring personal data such as name and surname, gender, date of birth, nationality, passport number, e-mail address, telephone number, the name of your hotel, and information about booked services, to us, which is necessary to complete the booking of your tour. This data will be stored by us for providing our services only. When tours offered by us are provided by third party providers your personal data will have to be forwarded to them. We assure you that we will contractually require such third-party providers to confirm and agree to delete your data immediately after the end of the tour, unless they are required to keep such personal data for accounting, legal or other legitimate purposes. Furthermore, third party providers will be asked to agree not to use your personal data for any other purposes without your separate consent received in accordance to the applicable Data Protection Legislation.

3. Payment

3.1 Credit card payment

When you pay for your booked services, the credit card payment will be processed directly by payment solution provider. You agree with applicable Terms & Conditions of such third party service provider. Tourtlee.com not store credit card information.

4. Cookies

4.1 Use of cookies

Tourtlee.com uses cookies. Cookies are used by most Internet service providers and allows Tourtlee.com to recognize your computer when you visit our website again. Cookies are a feature of your Internet browser software and store data about the use of websites on your computer.

The so called ‘cookies’ are used while browsing www.tourtlee.com. These are pieces of information sent by the server, stored on a user’s computer for the purpose of automatic identification of a particular user when browsing our website. ‘Cookies’ enable us to quickly confirm your identity and owing to them the use of our Services becomes much easier and more widely available.

The use of third party cookies is not covered by our Privacy Policy. We do not have access or control over these cookies.

4.4 Google Maps API

Thanks to the Google Maps API Tourtlee.com can provide you with additional information. To this end, certain anonymous data can be transmitted to Google.

4.5 Live Chat

‘Cookies’ are also used by our third party service provider LiveChat, Inc. solely with the purpose of personalizing a particular user. ‘Cookies’ can be used on condition that they are accepted by a browser and that they shall not be removed from the storage media. Users who removed ‘cookies’ from their storage media or have not accepted them on their browser may not have access to the Services rendered by LiveChat, Inc. LiveChat do not link the information they store in cookies to any Personal Data you submit while on our site.

LiveChat provides Tourtlee.com with (anonymous) website activity reports. For this purpose LiveChat uses cookies. Information on LiveChat’s privacy policy can be found at https://www.livechatinc.com/privacy-policy/. By using www.tourtlee.com and LiveChat on Tourtlee.com website you agree with the processing of your data through LiveChat.

We use LiveChat, so you could:

- Contact us at real time on a LiveChat app,
- To reach us, when we are not online on a LiveChat, via their Ticket system.

When you are using LiveChat Ticketing system to send us a message, the information that LiveChat may collect is first name, last name, e-mail address and other contact information. They do it in order to allow us to answer to you. LiveChat will not use this information for any purpose which is not compliant with LiveChat Privacy Policy.

4.5.1 Geo-Location data

Please be aware LiveChat, Inc. may have access to your geo-location data as they collect and process IP address of all devices you use their software on. Collecting and processing your geo-location data refers to mobile devices as well as computers. It happens regardless you are a Visitor or a Customer.

4.6 Social media (features) and widget

Our website includes social media features, such as the ‘Facebook Like button’ and Widgets, such as the ‘Share This button’ or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

5. Sharing Information with third parties

5.1 Data disclosure

Tourtlee.com main purpose of gathering Personal Data and other information is to provide Services, ensure safe and guaranteed Services performance for its Customers, upgrade and improve functionality of its Services. Owing to the above process to exceed our Customers’ expectations, we provide a constant development of our Services the use of which becomes much easier and more convenient. In order to ensure orderly and safety functioning our Service we might cooperate and use another entities providing services (described below). We do not sell or lease, your Personal Data to any third party. We will never share, sell rent or trade your registration and Personal Information with any marketing or promotional partners without your consent.

The following are exceptions, with respect to whom we may share your Personal Information:

a. Tourtlee.com reserves the right to disclose Personal Data to any of our parent, subsidiary, affiliated or successor companies.
b. Tourtlee.com reserves the right to disclose and the Customer agrees for the disclosure and transfer its Personal Data and other information relating to the Customer to Third Party Service Provider (including Sub-processors) such as hosting, credit card processing, customer/support services, e-mail, text messages, push notifications providers or others. On your request we can provide you with a list of entities which may have access to your Personal Data. We ensure these entities have access only to the minimum part of the Personal Data which is necessary for the proper service provision. Tourtlee.com shall observe due diligence to make sure the processing of data disclosed to any entities is in compliance with our Privacy Policy and the currently effective law.
c. Credit/payment card data provided by the Customer are disclosed solely to professional companies that conduct non-cash transactions and only to the extent necessary to effect the payments. Except for the above situations Tourtlee.com shall not disclose any information or personal data provided by Customer.
d. Personal Data can be disclosed to entities into which our company is merged, or to which our assets, site or operations have been transferred. Mentioned entities will be able to use your Personal Information under the terms of this Privacy Policy. We will notify you if any of these events occur by updating this Privacy Policy and, if practically possible, via other means.
e. You should also be aware that courts of equity, or governmental authorities may have the authority under certain circumstances to permit your Personal Information to be shared or transferred to third parties (other than Third Party Service Provider) without your permission.

Personal Data and other information provided by Customer shall not be disclosed to third parties unless the obligation to disclose the information to third parties results from the currently effective provisions of law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request, or if it is necessary for the Tourtlee.com security and its rights protection, including the protection against the claims submitted by the third parties. The provided Customer’s information may be utilized in the event of breach of Terms and Conditions for the use of Services, misuse of funds, the necessity to take action against all Customer’s unlawful actions. Tourtlee.com shall transfer no information or Personal Data to any third parties for marketing purposes.

5.2 Choice

We will always give you an opportunity to choose opt-out before your Personal Data is (1) disclosed to a Sub-processor (other than Tourtlee.com’s representatives doing work at our direction, or a third party affiliated or associated with Tourtlee.com and connected with providing services and its current business activity), or (2) to be used for a purpose that is materially different than that for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by you. The only exception to this choice for Personal Data would be where we are required to disclose your Personal Data pursuant to governmental or judicial order, law or regulation to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We will enable our Customers to provide individuals with reasonable mechanisms to exercise their choices. To limit the use and disclosure of your Personal Information, please submit a written request by e-mailing us at info@tourtlee.com.

5.3 Accountability for Onward Transfer

We will not transfer your Personal Data originating in the EU to Third Party Service Provider unless we ensure such Third Party Service Provider is obliged to provide at least the same level of privacy protection to your Personal Data as required by the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). We will only transfer data to our Third Party Service Providers (such as consultants, accountants, attorneys, and Sub-processors) who need the information in order to provide services to or perform activities on behalf of Tourtlee.com, and only for a purpose consistent with this Privacy Policy.

We guarantee that we take reasonable and appropriate technical and operational measures to protect your Personal Information we collect and hold from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. We will comply with any commercially reasonable request by Customer to correct, amend, block or delete Customer’s Personal Data, as required by Data Protection Laws, to the extent we are legally permitted to do so. If you wish to access, amend, or confirm that Tourtlee.com has Personal Data relating to you, or if you wish to correct or delete your Personal Information if it is inaccurate, please notify us at: info@tourtlee.com. We will respond to your access request within 30 days. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your Personal Information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

Tourtlee.com can change the General Terms of Use and Privacy Statement at any time. The terms at the time of your visit shall always apply.

Use of the Website is exclusively subject to Greek law.
